ASR League Prizes

With thanks to Alexandre Dinerchtein’s Insei league for kind sponsorship support:

Alpha:

1st place: 1 month of access to the Insei League KGS Room (watching lectures and games)
2nd place: 1 month of access to the Insei league
3rd to 6th place: still figuring out but traditionally we require at least 25 points for a prize. So play play play!  It will most likely be a mixture of teaching games and audiogolessons.

Beta:

1st place: both 1st places receive 2 weeks of KGS +

 

Gamma and Delta:

Every other month, the gamma winners will get KGS+ . April is a KGS+ month for gamma.

The prizes will include teaching games from ruestyle, climu, edu4ever, shinichi56, compgo74, dr4ch3. Thanks to all those committed teachers!

Please donate PRIZES! We would love money for audiogolessons and such, and we can always use more teaching games, since that really fits in the spirit of our League.   And no, you do not have to be strong to teach. Even if you think you know nothing (very natural thought in the journey of go that we all are on), you know more than someone who is a bunch of stones weaker and will be able to share some helpful insights with her. Alpha/Beta challenge:

If Alpha and Beta have a combined activity (4 or more games per player) of 90% or higher there will be an ASR sponsored lecture by Cornel Burzo. We made this goal once since I became prizes administrator, so let’s try to repeat it. Alpha and Beta members, you have worked so hard to get here,  help to keep yourself in the League and the league active by PLAYING!

NEW!!!!!!! Gamma challenge:

Gamma challenge april April 60% active players in gamma means a lecture by cornel
 Spread the word. Play! Make your friends play! Make your enemies play! We can do this!

 

ALL Classes (Alpha to Gamma):

  • Most active player (minimum 20 games)
  • Most active Kyu player (minimum 20 games)
  • Kyu player with the best result (minimum 15 games)
  • Kyu player with the worst result (minimum 15 games)

 

  • You can’t win more then 1 prize per month
  • Kyu prizes can only be won if you played ALL league games with a SOLID rank.

 

Game of the Month

 Keep an eye out for an exciting game, memorable, or especially enlightening game and propose if for Game of the Month. Please contact NannyOgg with your recommendation.
